Ship design for VLCC's up to 415,000t dw, bulk carriers, passenger liners, General cargo and warships. - Shipyard/fabrication yard Supervision. - Construction of Floating bridges. - Tanker terminals.

I am Ken Lorrison and have worked as a Steelwork Draughtsman for 42 years. 37 years involvement in Shipyard producing steelwork drawings, using Cadam for latter 10 years.3 years at Company that produced Welding and Laser/Plasma Cutting Machines, drawings produced using AutoCAD 12. A further year producing steelwork information using AutoCAD LT98 for a Ship Repair/Conversion Company. This also involved producing NC information for burning machines.

Career commenced with a 5 year draughting apprenticeship at a major U.K. shipbuilder and has developed through increasing levels of responsibility in diversified industries. Fully experienced in many aspects of site work, design and detailing, etc. in mechanical/piping/building services in varied industries, including petro-chem,offshore, semiconductors. Capable of site management/client liaison; co-ordination of services and sub-contractors; supervision of draughting; layout and detail draughting. Computer literate with use of Word, Excel, Access, PDMS View and CAD packages, AutoCAD, Intergraph Microstation, IBM Microcadam.
